E4 People in Sydney is seeking a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to drive the permanent division's pipeline. You’ll be the first point of contact for nurses and healthcare professionals, guiding them toward their next career move.

This is a candidate-centric role focused on attracting, screening, and engaging talent for permanent opportunities, with a clear path for development in a healthcare recruitment team.

Qualifications

• No recruitment background required; being great with people is key.
• Experience in high-contact roles (recruitment, sales, customer service, hospitality) helps.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing candidates through SEEK, LinkedIn, Facebook groups, job boards, and direct outreach; build talent pools.
• Respond to inbound enquiries and convert interest into screened, qualified candidates.
• Run phone screens and structured interviews to understand candidates' goals for a permanent move.
• Prepare candidate profiles and brief Recruit Consultants on readiness and fit.
• Stay in regular contact with candidates in the pipeline to prevent drop-off.
• Follow up with placed candidates through notice period into their new role.
• Keep CRM accurate and pipeline data clean so you know status at all times.

You'll be the person our nurses and healthcare professionals hear from first and the reason they stay engaged all the way through to their next big career move.

What you'll actually be doing

This is a candidate focused role. Your world is people: attracting them, understanding them, qualifying them, and making sure the right ones are ready and excited when a permanent opportunity comes up.

Day to day, that looks like:

• Sourcing candidates through SEEK, LinkedIn, Facebook groups, job boards, and direct outreach, building active talent pools for priority role types

Who you are

A background in recruitment, sales, customer service, hospitality, or any high-contact people role will set you up well. What won't work is someone who finds phone-based outreach draining, this role lives on it.
