Job summary

Tutt Bryant Equipment in Melbourne seeks a motivated trainee to interpret spare parts requirements and manage orders from receipt to completion. You will handle customer queries by phone, email or in person and assist in generating spare parts sales while learning our parts interpretation processes.

The Traineeship includes completing a Certificate III in Parts Interpreting, with a focus on quality systems and efficient, autonomous work within a team environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills, in person, phone and email.
• Ability to provide timely quotations and follow up.
• Experience with parts interpretation for retail/internal customers.
• Ability to generate spare parts business through promotions.
• Adherence to quality systems, policies and procedures.
• Traineeship involves completing a Certificate III in Parts Interpreting.

Responsibilities

• Interpret all parts requirements for retail and internal customers.
• Order parts and maintain contact with customers until orders are complete.
• Keep Spare Parts Manager informed of day-to-day parts needs.
• Order parts for emergency situations when required.
• Generate spare parts business via selling and promotions.
• Adhere to company quality systems, policies and procedures.

As a result of recent changes and growth, we are currently seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic, committed, and hardworking person to join our team.Reporting directly to the Branch Parts Manager you would be required to interpret all parts requirements for retail and internal customers. This would include ordering and maintaining customer contact until the order is complete.
