Job summary

Pickles Auctions, Milperra NSW branch, seeks a reliable, customer-focused learner for an entry-level Asset Inspector/Gatehouse role in a full-time, Mon-Fri position (8:00am–5:00pm). You will learn asset valuations, stock entry, and gatehouse processes while fast-tracking toward account management opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Asset Inspector: enter make, model, VIN/serial, photograph stock.
• Gatehouse: allocate asset numbers, check stock, training on chain of responsibility.
• Forklift: complete competency training for stock relocation and pallet movement.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Permanent | Full-Time | Monday–Friday
We’re on the hunt for a reliable, customer-focused quick learner to join our friendly team at our Milperra NSW branch (2214). Full-time, Mon - Fri (8:00am - 5:00pm). This is a fantastic opportunity to learn all facets of the business and fast track your career into account management and asset valuations.

What you will do:

• Asset Inspector- Accurately enter the make, model and VIN/serial number of all stock into the system, as well as photographing and detailing stock
• Gatehouse -Active involvement gatehouse processes including, allocating asset numbers to incoming stock, checking out stock as they are collected from site and Chain of Responsibility overview and training
• Forklift– Complete your competency training in forklift operations. This involves the relocation of salvage vehicles and pallet put-away and removal from warehouse racking

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

• Keen interest in auction operations
• Looking to develop a long-term career with Pickles
• Current & valid drivers' licenseand forklift license (desirable)
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• Customer focused and able to build strong relationships
• Strong attention to detail and highly motivated
• Ability to use acomputerand an iPad
