Job summary

Pickles Auctions in Milperra, NSW, seeks a skilled forklift operator to join the Operations team. This is a full-time, Mon–Fri role (8:00am–5:00pm), hands‑on and not desk-bound.

You will move and load vehicles, perform daily forklift checks, and support admin tasks as needed while adhering to WHS safety rules and providing excellent vendor and buyer service.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience as a forklift operator.
• Current manual driver’s licence and forklift licence.
• Experience in a similar industry is advantageous.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to follow WHS rules and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding support to vendors and buyers.
• Locate, move and load/unload vehicles via forklift and track asset movements.
• Perform daily forklift checks, weekly maintenance and complete logbooks.
• Assist with bookings and general admin tasks when needed.
• Help out the team where needed and maintain safety at all times.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a skilled, safety-conscious forklift operator to join our Operations team at our Milperra, NSW, 2214. Full-time, Mon–Fri (8:00am–5:00pm). Hands‑on role, permanent position, on the go, not behind a desk.

What you will do:

• Customer Service - Deliver outstanding support to vendors and buyers.


• Asset handling– locate, move and load/unload vehicles via forklift, and track asset movements..


• Maintain forklift – perform daily checks, weekly maintenance, and complete logbooks.


• Team support – help out where needed.


• Admin Support - Assist with bookings and admin tasks when needed.


• Follow WHS rules – keep safety top priority.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

• High attention to detail


• Able to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines


• At least 6 months experience as a forklift operator


• Current manual driver’s licence and forklift licence


• Experience in a similar industry will be an advantage
