ACM Talent Solutions is assisting a prominent Australian manufacturer of specialised heavy vehicles, equipment, trailers and attachments for rail and civil sectors in Ballarat. We are seeking a motivated Junior Storeperson to join the Stores team and develop a career in warehousing, logistics and manufacturing support.

You will help ensure materials, components and equipment are available when needed, support stock control, picking, dispatch prep, and continuous improvement within the stores

Aufgaben

• Receive and check deliveries from suppliers.
• Manage stock control, storage and inventory.
• Pick parts and kits for production and spare parts orders.
• Assist with Kanban and stocktake activities.
• Organise freight and transport bookings.
• Complete local pickups and deliveries.
• Support fabrication and fitting teams with parts and kits.
• Assist with dispatch preparation and quality checks.
• Maintain a safe, organised and efficient stores area.

About the Role

As a Junior Storeperson, you will be an integral part of the Stores team, supporting production by making sure materials, components and equipment are available when needed. Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking parts and kits for production and spare parts orders
• Assisting with Kanban and stocktake activities
• Preparing materials and components for production
• Helping with component assembly and other stores-related tasks
• Organising freight and transport bookings

• A current driver's licence (advantageous but not essential)
• A forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
• Previous warehousing or stores experience (desirable but not essential)
