Job summary

Busy Bees in Brisbane is seeking a motivated Trainee Educator to join our team. This full-time role offers a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, supporting educators to deliver play-based learning under the EYLF framework.

The successful candidate will be enrolled in or willing to enroll in a Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care and must be able to obtain a WWVP/Working with Children Check for Queensland.

What you’ll do

• Support educators in delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

• Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children

• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members

• Support daily routines, transitions, and supervision of children

• Contribute to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you’ll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values

• Willingness to enrol in or currently enrolled in a Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Ability to obtain a valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP) - Working with Children Check for [QLD. VIC, NSW, SA, WA]

• Basic communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow

• A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic

• Previous experience with children (e.g., babysitting, volunteering) is advantageous but not essential
