Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking a Casual Educator in Byford North to support engaging play-based learning for children. You’ll help implement EYLF-aligned experiences, support daily routines and foster a safe, welcoming environment for every child.

Applicants should hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be working towards it), have current First Aid and CPR, and be willing to obtain WWVP checks for WA. Shifts run 6:30am–6:30pm, Monday to Friday.

• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Current WWVP (Working with Children Check) for WA.

Responsibilities

Casual Educator | $38.71 – $47.68 per hour | Byford North

What you’ll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play‑based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you’ll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP) - Working with Children Check for WA
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded
• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
