Job summary

Corangamite Shire Council is hiring a Trainee Early Childhood Educator in Camperdown, Victoria. Trainee Early Childhood Educator

Salary:$26.44 per hour

About the position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Early Childhood Educator to join our team!

In this role, you will work towards a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care while gaining hands‑on experience across the Shire's Kindergartens, Child Care and After Kindergarten Care programs.

About you

• The ability to apply learning skills to further learning skills in a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• A genuine interest in pursuing a career in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• The ability to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• Competency in using office equipment and Microsoft computer programs.
• A recent National Police Check and current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain.
• National Child Safety Training Certificate, or ability to obtain.
• A current Victorian Driver Licence and First Aid/CPR qualifications are highly desirable.
