Job summary

The Star Sydney is recruiting a Trainee Dealer to support our table games operations. The role reports to the Gaming Supervisor and offers paid training for 5 weeks full-time, followed by a part-time roster.

Training options run 10am–6pm or 6pm–2am, and attendance is essential to succeed in the role. Responsibilities include mastering the game(s), adhering to rules, protecting company assets, and escalating disputes to the appropriate team.

• Proficiency in Maths, ability to perform math problems without a calculator.
• Attention to detail and high level of concentration.

• Ensure that the integrity of the company and its assets are protected and maintained including licensing requirements.
• Report any disputes or complaints in a timely manner to the Gaming Supervisor or the Training and Development team.

The Trainee Dealerrole reports directly to the Gaming Supervisor and offers an extraordinary opportunity to provide a positive and memorable guest experience. This is a fantastic opportunity where you can learn a new skill set and enhance the table games experiences.

Successful candidates will be provided with paid training starting November 17th on a full-time basis for 5 weeks (Monday - Friday) before moving to a part-time roster following completion of training. There are two training options; 10am - 6pm or 6pm - 2am, and attendance to training is essential to succeed in this role.

• Attention to detail & high level of concentration
• Minimum 3 days availability with 2 across Friday or Saturday, and Monday or Wednesday
