The Star Sydney is seeking a Revenue Assurance Analyst to deliver high-quality, risk-based revenue assurance activities while ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

You will conduct gaming and non-gaming compliance reviews across multiple departments, safeguarding revenue integrity and minimising business risk within a high-performing Finance team.

Qualificações

• Audit experience is highly desirable.
• Experience within a casino or other highly regulated industry is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of accounting systems, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Undergraduate qualification in Accounting (or equivalent) or significant experience in a similar audit, risk or compliance role.
• Experience in risk management, controls and compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Audit and compliance activities across Casino Gaming, Hotel and Food & Beverage operations.
• Provide revenue reporting, analysis and reconciliations to support Financial Accounting activities.
• Conduct compliance audits in line with the Revenue Audit Plan, ICMS and accounting policies.
• Generate and distribute daily revenue reports.
• Assist in designing and implementing forensic analysis and monitoring activities to mitigate risk exposure.
• Prepare and submit reports to regulators (ILGA, OLGR) and Finance stakeholders within required timeframes.

As a Revenue Assurance Analyst, reporting to the Senior Revenue Assurance Analyst, you will deliver high-quality, risk-based revenue assurance activities while ensuring compliance with The Star Sydney's policies and regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for conducting gaming and non-gaming compliance reviews across multiple departments, helping to safeguard revenue integrity and minimise business risk.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your analytical skills and compliance expertise while contributing to a high-performing Finance team.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Perform audit and compliance activities across Casino Gaming, Hotel and Food & Beverage operations.
• Provide revenue reporting, analysis and reconciliations to support Financial Accounting activities.
• Conduct compliance audits in line with the Revenue Audit Plan, accounting systems, ICMS and accounting policies.
• Generate and distribute daily revenue reports.
• Assist in the design and implementation of forensic analysis and monitoring activities to mitigate risk exposure.
• Prepare and submit reports to regulators (ILGA, OLGR) and Finance stakeholders within required timeframes.
• Report non-conformance findings internally and externally in accordance with the Internal Control Manual (ICM).

What we are looking for:

• Audit experience is highly desirable.
• Experience within a casino environment or another highly regulated industry will be highly regarded.
• Strong computer and systems proficiency.
• Sound understanding of accounting systems, internal controls and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Undergraduate qualification in Accounting (or equivalent) or significant experience in a similar audit, risk or compliance role.
• Experience in risk management, controls and compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
