Job summary

LiveHire Limited is seeking compassionate Community Support Workers to assist aged care clients in their homes across the NSW region. You’ll provide domestic assistance, personal care, transportation, meal prep and companionship, with on-the-job training included.

Shifts run Monday to Friday between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, with flexible days and hours. No experience required; formal Certificate III in Individual Support training is provided during the role.

Qualifications

Be reliable and have a great attitude.
Willingness to learn and work.
Able to pass National Police Check and WVPC.
NSW driver’s licence and own registered vehicle with full comprehensive insurance.
Able to commit to 15–30+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

Visit clients in their homes to provide support services.
Assist with domestic tasks, shopping, meal prep and transportation.
Support personal care tasks as needed.
Encourage social activities and respite when required.

Flexible days/hours, as long as your availability is between 7:00am and 7:00pm, Monday to Friday
If you don't have experience, we can offer you on-the-job training
Minimum 15 hours a week, and work up to 30+ hours a week
Excellent incentives and working conditions
The hourly rate is $34.4200 per hour (part-time)
Must have a reliable vehicle with a NSW driver's licence and have/be willing to obtain full comprehensive insurance.
Must have or be willing to obtain First Aid & CPR

Our client, a well-established home and community care organisation, is seeking new team members to join their local team in the region.

No experience is required; we will train you in Certificate III in Individual Support, and you will be paid to attend buddy shifts, regular shifts, and training days.

On-the-job training provided.

We are expanding this team to deal with the increase in new clients requiring services, with the expansion of community services.

When you start your career as a Community Support Worker, you can complete socialisation and domestic tasks. As you progress, you will receive training in additional services, such as personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting), respite, catheter care, and much more!

What we are seeking:

Have a great attitude

Ability to pass a National Police Check (we will get this for you)
Ability to pass and receive a Working with Vulnerable Persons Card (WVPC)
Have a current NSW driver's licence
Have a reliable, registered vehicle, with full comprehensive insurance; and
Have regular availability
Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or a Permanent resident, allowing access to State Funding for the program.

Shifts are available Monday to Friday, between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm.
