Qualifications

Pass a National Police Check.
Pass Working with Vulnerable Persons Check (WVPC).
Current NSW driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.

Hold a current First Aid & CPR certificate or be willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

Provide Domestic Assistance in clients’ homes.
Assist with Shopping trips and meal preparation.
Support Personal Care such as dressing, showering, grooming.
Provide transportation to appointments and activities.
Support social activities and respite for clients.
Assist with tasks at home and accompany clients on outings.
Record client progress and communicate with team regularly.
Adhere to care plans and maintain safety protocols.

Permanent part-time roles
Flexible days/hours, shifts available between 7:00am and 7:00pm, Monday to Friday
If you don't have experience, we can offer you on-the-job training
Minimum 15 hours and work up to 30+ hours a week
Excellent incentives and working conditions
The hourly rate starts from $34.4200 per hour (part-time)
Must have a reliable vehicle and an NSW driver's licence.
Must live within 10 kms of the Ashfield/Inner West area, as clients will be located within this area.
To access State Funding (Certificate III), must be an Australian or New Zealand Permanent Resident or Citizen.

Our client, a well-established home and community care organisation, is seeking new team members to join their local team in the region.

No experience is required; we will train you in Certificate III in Individual Support, and you will be paid to attend buddy shifts, regular shifts, and training days.

On-the-job training provided.

We are expanding this team to deal with the increase in new clients requiring services, with the expansion of community services.

When you start your career as a Community Support Worker, you can complete socialisation and domestic tasks. As you progress, you will receive training in additional services, such as personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting), respite, catheter care, and much more!

What we are seeking:

Ability to pass and receive a Working with Vulnerable Persons Card (WVPC)
Have a current NSW driver's licence
Have a reliable, registered vehicle, with full comprehensive insurance; and
Have regular availability
Be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or a Permanent resident, allowing access to State Funding for the program.
Hold a current First Aid & CPR Certificate or be willing to obtain.

Shifts are available Monday to Friday, between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, and can suit parents-friendly availability as well.
