Job summary

Queensland Childcare Services is seeking a Trainee to join the Springfield team. You will support the care and education of children, participate in play-based learning activities, and collaborate with educators and families.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 38 hours per week, Full Time, located in Springfield. Compensation starts from $12.97 per hour (+Super) with opportunities for funded qualifications and professional development.

Qualifications

• Commitment to completing Certificate III in Early Childhood Education.
• Current Queensland Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Positive, motivated, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the care and education of children.
• Engage in fun, play-based learning activities.
• Support children’s health, safety, and well-being.
• Work collaboratively with educators and families.
• Help with daily routines such as meals, tidying, and activities.
