Job summary

Queensland Childcare Services is seeking an Inclusion & Wellbeing Educator for Crestmead Early Education Centre. The role supports inclusive practices across classrooms, working with educators to help children participate in routines, play, relationships and learning experiences.

The successful applicant will contribute to safe, caring environments and be committed to child-centered outcomes, with a 5-hour daily shift and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Hold or be actively working towards an approved ECEC qualification.
  • Current Queensland Blue Card.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, or willingness to obtain.
  • Current Child Protection training.
  • Knowledge of EYLF and inclusive early childhood practice.
  • Strong commitment to child-safe practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inclusion support across learning environments and routines.
  • Collaborate with educators to help children participate meaningfully in activities.
  • Support children to build confidence, social and emotional skills, and self-regulation.

Crestmead Early Education Centre

Crestmead Early Education Centre is looking for a caring, patient and passionate Inclusion & Wellbeing Educator to join our team.

This role is about helping children feel safe, supported, included and successful within their early learning environment.

About the Role

We are seeking an educator to work a 5-hour shift each day, providing additional support within our learning environments.

Rather than working solely alongside one child, this position will support inclusive practice across the room, working collaboratively with educators to help children participate meaningfully in routines, play, relationships and learning experiences.

You may support children to:
  • Build confidence and a sense of belonging
  • Develop social and emotional skills
  • Navigate transitions and daily routines
  • Build positive relationships with peers
  • Communicate their needs, ideas and emotions
  • Participate successfully in group and play experiences
  • Develop self-regulation skills
  • Access environments and experiences in ways that meet their individual strengths and needs

Requirements
