Job summary

The Regional Council NSW is seeking a Traffic Engineer on a contract basis to plan, assess, design, and manage traffic and transport infrastructure to support safe and sustainable movement within the council area.

You will work with internal stakeholders, government agencies, developers, consultants, and the community, providing specialist traffic engineering advice and delivering compliant traffic management solutions that meet legislation.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Transport Engineering, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assess, design and manage traffic and transport infrastructure to support safe, efficient, and sustainable movement.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, government agencies, developers, consultants and the community to provide specialist traffic engineering advice.
• Deliver traffic management solutions that meet legislative requirements and community expectations.
