Job summary

Inner-West Sydney Local Council is seeking a Traffic Engineer to assist with backlog of traffic enquiries from internal and external stakeholders. You will support grant applications for roads, parking, pedestrians and traffic projects.

You will assess development and grant funding applications, prepare committee reports, investigate issues, and complete design assessments using AutoCAD. Flexible hours and potential for contract extension are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Asset Management or relevant qualifications.
• Previous experience in Local Government is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, and TechOne; strong communication skills.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As an Traffic Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with Councils backlog for all traffic related enquiries from internal and external Stakeholders, including undertaking grant applications, including roads, parking, pedestrian and traffic projects.
