Job summary

Garde Services is seeking an experienced Traffic Coordinator to join our team in Sydney. You will oversee and coordinate traffic management operations across projects, ensuring safe and efficient on-site flow as teams work.

You will develop TGSs, manage Controllers and equipment, and liaise with clients and authorities. A strong focus on safety, compliance, and accurate reporting will be essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in traffic management or similar role.
• Valid Traffic Control Certificate and White Card.
• Strong leadership and team-motivation abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with focus on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGSs) and apply Road Occupancy Licences (ROLS).
• Manage Traffic Controllers and coordinate daily allocations across multiple worksites.
• Coordinate traffic control vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with road authority requirements and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and compliance checks.
• Coordinate road closures, permits and traffic diversions.
• Liaise with clients, councils, project managers and authorities.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and project documentation.
• Prepare and issue monthly client invoices.
