Job summary

Garde Services is seeking an experienced Traffic Coordinator to oversee all traffic management operations for on-site projects in Sydney. You will implement TGSs, manage Traffic Controllers, and ensure compliance with road authority requirements while maintaining safety and efficiency on busy work sites.

Key responsibilities include coordinating daily allocations, managing vehicles and equipment, and liaising with clients and authorities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in traffic management or a similar role.
• Valid Traffic Control Certificate and White Card.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGSs) and applying Road Occupancy Licenses (ROLS).
• Manage Traffic Controllers and coordinate daily allocations across multiple work site.
• Manage and coordinate traffic control vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with relevant road authority requirements and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspection, risk assessments and compliance checks.
• Coordinate road closures, permits and traffic diversions.
• Liaise with clients, councils, project managers and relevant authorities.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and project documentation.
• Prepare and issue monthly client invoices.
