Job summary

Altus Traffic is seeking dedicated, enthusiastic traffic management practitioners and team members for multiple projects across Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs. The role offers weekly pay, progression opportunities, and a supportive safety culture.

We require experienced traffic controllers with TC2-TMI2/TMI3 accreditation, OHS card, and a valid manual license. Availability for days, nights and weekends is essential to join our growing team.

Qualifications

• Valid Traffic Control Accreditation (TC2-TMI2/TMI3).
• OHS Card.
• Full driving license with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
• Traffic Management Experience.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.
• TMA ticket is highly regarded.
• Commitment to safety in all we do.

Responsibilities

• Perform traffic management for works or events.
• Use Stop/Slow Bat to control traffic.
• Implement and monitor operational Traffic management plans.
• Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment.
• Complete site hazard assessments and implement controls.
• Report on site hazards and near misses.
• Monitor traffic behaviour to maintain safety.
• Obey instructions from team leaders, foremen, or inspectors.
• Control traffic, pedestrians and cyclists to protect workers and the public.

We are currently working on multiple major projects, new and existing, throughout Melbourne's South-eastern suburbs. We are looking for reliable and Experienced Traffic Controllers/ Team leaders (TC2-TMI2 /TMI3) to join our team and grow with our business. Duties:

• Perform all tasks associated with traffic management for works or events
• Use of Stop/Slow Bat to control traffic
• Implement and monitor operational Traffic management plans
• Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment
• Complete site hazard assessments and implement control measures to suit the site
• Report on site hazards and near misses
• Monitor traffic behaviour and or flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times
• Obey instructions from team leaders, foremen, or inspectors and auditors
• Control traffic, pedestrians and cyclists to protect maintenance workers, work crews and members of the public

Skills & Experience:

• Valid Traffic Control Accreditation (TC2-TMI2/ TMI3)
• OHS Card
• Full driving license with Confident ability to drive manual vehicle
• Traffic Management Experience
• Availability to workdays, nights and weekends
• TMA ticket is highly regarded.
