Altus Traffic on the Sunshine Coast is hiring Traffic Management Practitioners and Team Members to support major infrastructure projects. Join a safety‑driven team dedicated to high standards of service delivery. Exclusive $2000 sign‑on bonus paid over 10 months with targets.

Qualifications

• Essential: QLD TC – Traffic Control License
• Desirable: QLD TMI – Traffic Management Implementation License
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport
• Flexible availability for day, night and weekend shifts
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication skills with a focus on safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic for works and events using Stop/Slow Bat
• Implement and monitor traffic management plans
• Perform vehicle pre-start checks, load/unload signage, and equipment
• Complete necessary documentation and hazard assessments
• Report hazards and near misses promptly
• Maintain safety standards for workers, pedestrians, cyclists, and the public
• Work closely with team leaders, foremen, and auditors to ensure best practices are followed
