Job summary

Complete Traffic Services in Adelaide is seeking experienced, ticketed Traffic Controllers to join our casual team, helping keep workers, motorists and pedestrians safe across metro Adelaide.

You will set up and manage traffic control devices, direct traffic, liaise with site supervisors, report hazards, perform equipment checks, and comply with WHS and PPE requirements. A take-home company ute is provided, with flexible shifts and local work across metro Adelaide.

Qualifications

• Not an entry-level role; hands-on experience as a Traffic Controller is required.
• Must hold a current Traffic Controller ticket/accreditation and a valid driver's licence.
• Safety-conscious team members who are dependable, punctual and available for casual shifts (including early starts).
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with the public and site crews.

Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and pack down traffic control devices (signs, cones, barriers, lights) in accordance with approved traffic management plans.
• Direct traffic of vehicles and pedestrians through active work zones.
• Coordinate effectively with site supervisors and crews to ensure smooth, efficient traffic flow and site operations.
• Proactively identify, report, and manage hazards or incidents on-site.
• Conduct thorough pre-start checks on all traffic control equipment.
• Strictly follow WHS requirements and wear correct PPE at all times.

Your Role & Responsibilities:
