Job summary

Classic Recruitment is currently seeking experienced and reliable Traffic Controllers and TMI's for upcoming local and regional projects across Queensland.

We work with employers across a range of industries, providing temporary, contract and labour-hire recruitment services. Contract and assignment lengths vary, with opportunities for ongoing work for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Current QLD Level 1 Traffic Controller Licence required.
• Current QLD Level 2 Traffic Management Implementer (TMI) Licence required for TMI roles.
• White Card.
• Current Australian Driver Licence.
• Reliable transport.
• Ability to work local and regional/away-from-home assignments.
• Reliable, safety-focused and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Operate Stop/Slow bats and UHF radios.
• Implement and monitor Traffic Management Plans.
• Set up, maintain and remove traffic control signage.
• Direct vehicles and pedestrians safely around work zones.
• Communicate effectively with traffic management personnel and site teams.
• Follow all WHS policies, procedures and site requirements.
• Maintain a high standard of safety and professionalism at all times.
