Job summary

AVADA Traffic seeks a Supervisor to lead traffic controller teams from our Mackay depot, with travel between sites and offices. You will oversee day-to-day operations, audits, and safety protocols to meet client requirements and keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role within traffic management.
• Strong knowledge of traffic management plans and safety protocols.
• Proven ability to lead a large team in time-sensitive environments.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Valid traffic control certification and driver’s license required.
• Effective communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate operational activities of traffic controller teams.
• Develop site audits and maintain presence to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Implement approved systems for site records, inspections, and stocktakes.
• Escalate incidents per procedure and manage corrective actions.
• Ensure client requirements and documentation are completed and accurate.
• Review rosters and shifts, and ensure vehicles are roadworthy.
• Manage inventory of signage on vehicles and stores.
