Job summary

Qube Research & Technologies is seeking an experienced Trading Systems Software Engineer to build and maintain production-grade applications, services and APIs that support our global trading platform across Sydney and beyond.

You will design scalable distributed systems, deploy automation, work with traders and researchers, and contribute to architectural decisions while balancing performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing production-grade software.
• Experience designing maintainable, scalable applications and services.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, relational databases and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain production-grade applications, services and APIs for the trading platform.
• Build shared platforms and reusable capabilities across desks and teams.
• Develop web applications and operational tools to improve visibility and efficiency.
• Design scalable distributed and event-driven systems integrated with market data and internal infra.
• Build deployment tooling, release automation and self-service capabilities.
