Job summary

Westbury Partners is seeking a senior Linux-focused infrastructure engineer to own and optimize real-time trading environments. You will design, deploy, and maintain global Linux-based infrastructure, lead critical projects, and drive automation across hardware, networks, and applications.

The role requires expert Linux, extensive scripting in Python and Bash, and strong experience with Debian/Ubuntu. Expect on-call rotations and close collaboration with engineering teams to improve performance

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience supporting live production environments, preferably within financial trading.
• Expert-level knowledge of Linux systems, including hardware, networking, kernels and applications.
• Strong experience with Debian or Ubuntu distributions.
• Proficiency in configuration management tools such as SaltStack, Puppet, Ansible or Chef.
• Advanced Python programming skills with a focus on automation and integration.
• Extensive Bash scripting experience and strong command-line capabilities.

About You:
