United Rentals is seeking a skilled Tradesperson to fit out, modify and prepare equipment to the highest standards. You’ll work with a range of tools, interpret modification guidelines and contribute to delivering quality outcomes for customers.

The role offers hands-on work across varied equipment with strong emphasis on safety, teamwork and continuous improvement. You’ll be part of a global leader in equipment rental, with opportunities for training and career advancement.

Formación

• Three years' experience in a trade, manufacturing, fabrication, construction, maintenance or similar environment.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

We're looking for a skilled and hands‑on Tradesperson to join our team and help fit out, modify and prepare our equipment to the highest standards. This is a varied role where you'll use your trade skills to customise and improve products, work with a range of tools and equipment, and contribute to delivering quality outcomes for our customers. What You'll Be Doing

• Fitting out, modifying and customising equipment to company standards.
• Interpreting and following modification guidelines and specifications.
• Using a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and workmanship.
• Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and work processes.
• Maintaining tools and equipment, including reporting faults and tagging out damaged items.
• Operating a forklift when required.
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe through strong housekeeping practices.
• Working closely with internal teams to meet quality and delivery timeframes.
• Supporting and assisting team members, including training new employees when required.

What We’re Looking For

• Trade qualification.
• Minimum three years' experience in a trade, manufacturing, fabrication, construction, maintenance, or similar environment.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools and production equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem‑solving and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• LF Forklift Licence, First Aid Certificate and WHS qualifications will be highly regarded.
