Job summary

Workcon Fieldworkers is seeking a Trades Assistant Maintenance (Mechanical/Electrical) to support our North Rocks Industrial Laundry. You will perform preventative maintenance on laundry equipment, assist in installing new machinery, and help keep facilities running efficiently while adhering to safety practices.

Ideal candidates have mechanical/electrical maintenance experience, strong communication, and a proactive, teachable attitude.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance experience preferred.
• Solid communicator with the ability to listen & take direction.
• Willingness to acquire new skills, teachable attitude.
• Is self-motivated and prioritises safety.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in repair, service and reactive maintenance of our commercial laundry equipment.
• Assisting in fault finding and troubleshooting ensuring faults are fixed quickly.
• Preventative maintenance of our commercial laundry equipment.
• Support and work with production team to minimise machine downtime.
• Work with maintenance team members on new installations or business improvement projects.

Trades Assistant Maintenance (Mechanical/Electrical)

Our client is looking for an experienced Trades Assistant, at their North Rocks Industrial Laundry to join the maintenance team.

You will be required to provide mechanical/electrical maintenance support and ensure the laundry operational facilities and machinery function are to their maximum efficiency with minimal disruption in output. This includes:

Completing preventative maintenance services to all laundry equipment, including industrial washers, dryers, boilers, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems;

Assisting in the configuration and installation of new machinery;

Maintaining our materials, products and services

Duties
