Maintenance Tradesperson - Mechanical / Electrical

Get your hands dirty. Keep the big stuff running. Be part of a crew that’s got your back.

Are you the person who can’t walk past a machine without wondering how it works? The one who’d rather be on the tools solving a problem than watching the clock? Then we want to hear from you.

We’re a large, well-established agricultural production business based in Mulgrave, in the heart of the Hawkesbury. Our site runs 24/7, and keeping it moving is the job of a maintenance team that takes pride in its work – and in looking after each other.

The role

We’re looking for a Maintenance Tradesperson to join our workshop crew. You don’t need to be a “textbook” fitter. Whether you come from a mechanical, diesel, fitting, automotive or electrical background, if you’ve got a technical mind and real hands‑on experience with machinery, there’s a place for you here.

A typical week could include:

• Breakdown repairs – diagnosing and fixing faults to get plant back up and running
• Planned and preventative maintenance on conveyors, loaders, pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics and processing equipment
• Fabrication, modifications and improvements – making things work better, not just patching them
• Working alongside contractors on upgrades and projects
• Keeping safety front and centre – for yourself and your workmates

What you bring

• A trade background – Mechanical Fitter, Diesel/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Maintenance Fitter, Electrician or similar (or solid equivalent experience)
• Hands‑on experience maintaining or repairing machinery and plant
• A practical, problem‑solving mindset – you like working out why something broke
• A genuine willingness to learn, have a go and get stuck in
• A team‑first attitude and a good sense of humour
• Flexibility to work within a 24/7 operation, including occasional weekends
• Nice to have: welding/fabrication skills, hydraulics, PLC/electrical fault‑finding, forklift or MR licence

Why you’ll like it here

• A crew that cares – a workshop where people help each other out, share knowledge and have each other’s backs
• Variety – no two days are the same, from heavy plant to precision equipment
• Real impact – your work keeps a major operation running, and you’ll see the results
• Room to grow – learn new skills, broaden your trade and build your career
• Safety first – we take looking after our people seriously
• Stability – a long-standing, local business with a big future
• Location – Mulgrave, easy access from the Hawkesbury, Blacktown and the Hills district
