Job summary

Ventia is seeking a Trade Assistant LV Distribution based in or willing to relocate to the Townsville area to join our Energy and Renewables team. The role offers an hourly wage of 58.23 AUD plus super and penalties, with a roster including a 9-day fortnight and a 10:4 roster for away-from-home projects.

You will proactively support safe power line works, assist with equipment and vehicle maintenance, and perform safety observer duties when required.

Qualifications

• Willing to relocate to Townsville area.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Working at Heights certification or capability.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist in the safe delivery of power line works.
• Understand and proactively assist with tasks to improve efficiency.
• Act as safety observer when assigned.
• Maintain vehicle, site and depot housekeeping.
• Ensure tools and equipment are safely maintained and operated.
• Assist with restocking of vehicles.
• Assist with cleaning of work equipment and vehicles.
• Undertake other duties as reasonably required.
