Job summary

David Hill Industrial Group is seeking a dedicated Trades Allrounder for our Toukley office and Morisset warehouse to assist with installing and repairing warehouse racking systems.

You will work alongside skilled tradespeople, support project execution, and use drawing software as needed. A trade certificate or Trades Assistant experience is preferred, with emphasis on reliability, safety, and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or relevant experience as a Trades Assistant preferred.
• Experience using drawing software or willingness to learn.
• Be physically fit and able to perform manual labor.
• Hold a valid driver’s license with access to your own vehicle.
• Reside within Central Coast or Morisset Council NSW area.
• Experience in spray painting, welding, or workshop environments is a plus.
• MR Truck and/or Forklift license is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced tradespeople with installation and repair of racking systems.
• Support project execution and site cleanup.
• Utilize drawing software for project planning when required.

The Role

The successful candidate will assist in various tasks related to the installation and repair of racking systems. Key responsibilities include:

Working alongside experienced tradespeople to support project execution.

Utilizing drawing software applications for project planning and execution (desirable).

Demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to learning.

Performing manual tasks including laboring, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should:

Have a trade certificate or relevant experience as a Trades Assistant Preferred but not essential.

Possess experience using drawing software applications or the willingness to learn.

Be physically fit and willing to undertake manual labor.

Be computer literate and capable of learning new software programs.

Demonstrate honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Reside within the Central Coast or Morriset Council areas of NSW.

Hold a valid driver's license and have access to your own vehicle due as there is no close public transport.

Additional favorable considerations include experience in spray painting, welding, workshop environments, and possessing a Truck MR and or Forklift license.
