Job summary

Workpac Group in Sydney's western suburbs is seeking a Trade Counter Rep. / Warehouse Assistant to support stock control, warehouse operations, and customer service for trade customers. Training will be provided for order processing and product recommendations.

The role emphasizes building relationships with local tradies, maintaining safety, and operating a forklift with support as needed. Mon–Fri schedule with penalties and superannuation on base hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing or stock control.
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Customer service or retail experience in technical environments is valued.
• Strong relationship-building and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and willingness to learn.

Our well-established Castle Hill-based client operates within the technical wholesale supply sector, supporting trade and commercial customers through a combination of warehouse operations, inventory management, and customer service. Staff are responsible for maintaining stock accuracy, supporting customer enquiries, and ensuring products are available when required.

What you will be doing

• Assist with stock control and inventory management
• Support warehouse operations including picking and packing
• Help customers find the right products and solutions (training provided)
• Use internal systems to process orders and enquiries (training provided)
• Deliver great counter service and support trade customers
• Build strong relationships with local tradies and technicians
• Operate a forklift (will consider training and support for right candidate)
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace

What you will need

• Experience in warehousing is preferrable
• A forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one
• Confidence communicating with customers and teammates
• A genuine passion for helping customers
• Customer service or retail experience (trade or technical environments highly regarded)
• Strong relationship-building skills
• A practical mindset and willingness to learn new technical skills
• A strong commitment to safety and teamwork

Whats in it for you?
