Job summary

Macquarie Group in Sydney is looking for an Executive, Trade Support and Collateral Management within Market Services. You will manage daily collateral and margining processes across global markets, acting as a critical control point between Trading, Clients, Credit Risk, Custodians and Operations.

Based on the trading floor, you will optimise collateral utilisation, support regulatory obligations, and drive improvements through automation and new operating models.

Qualifications

• Strong middle office operations experience with solid understanding of financial markets.
• Excellent stakeholder management across all levels of the organisation.
• High attention to detail with ability to balance daily operations with strategic view.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience driving process improvements, controls, automation and risk management.
• Exposure to project management and change initiatives; interest in new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily collateral and margining activities across global markets.
• Monitor collateral exposures and resolve disputes or settlement exceptions.
• Perform reconciliations across collateral, cash, securities and client records.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Credit Risk, Legal and clients to optimise collateral usage.
• Ensure timely client reporting and regulatory obligations; support transformation initiatives.
