Job summary

Sydney Tools is seeking a motivated sales person to join our team at Gladstone. The role focuses on driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, and building relationships with customers in a busy hardware/tools environment.

Based in Gladstone, you will process transactions, provide product information, and promote current promotions while maintaining strong merchandising standards. Experience with power tools is valued and a team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Sales, customer service or trades experience is required.
• Track record of working to sales targets.
• Ability to work with and understand tools/power tools.
• Energetic and motivated individual looking to work as part of a team.
• Familiar with basic computer operations.
• Previous trades or construction industry experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Processing over the counter/phone sale transactions.
• Provide accurate information about specific products, features and services.
• Informing customers about current promotions and special offers.
• Dealing with customer queries/complaints and offering solutions.
• Manage merchandising and store displays.
• Regular training and development to improve power tool knowledge and sales.
• Rostered day on the weekend each week (11-day Fortnight).
