Job summary

Wendouree Mitre 10 in Ballarat is seeking a motivated Trade Administrator to assist customers with product enquiries, prepare quotations, process orders and coordinate deliveries. You will work closely with our external sales team and gain support from procurement, logistics and hardware departments to deliver outstanding service and grow our trade business.

Qualifications

• Experience in trade sales or trade support
• Knowledge of timber, building materials and hardware products
• Strong customer service and sales ability
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Confidence using computers and sales/order systems
• Strong organisation and time management in a busy environment

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to trade customers over the phone and via email
• Prepare accurate quotations and follow up to support sales
• Process customer orders and coordinate deliveries
• Check product availability and liaise with colleagues and suppliers
• Manage special orders and supplier purchase orders
• Process cash and account sales, returns and refunds
• Resolve customer enquiries and complaints promptly
• Build trusted relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliers
• Contribute to sales targets with the Trade Sales Team
