Job summary

Vulcan Aluminium site is seeking a Trade Counter Assistant to support walk-in customers and handle sales enquiries. The role emphasises delivering exceptional service and product knowledge, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Standard hours are 8am–4pm, with potential flexibility to accommodate business needs. Key responsibilities include processing quotes, orders, and providing suitable solutions to customers, while maintaining safety and attention to detail in a busy counter environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and sales experience (preferred but not essential).
• Ability to work independently and part of the team.
• Attention to detail.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting walk-in customers with a range of product enquiries.
• Processing general phone and face to face sales enquiries.
• Preparing sales quotes and orders.
• Providing suitable solutions to our existing and potential customers.
