Job summary

Reece Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Trade Counter Assistant to support plumbers and tradespeople at our Inner Sydney branch. You will assist customers, quote products, manage stock, and ensure a friendly, safe shop environment while delivering to customers as needed.

No plumbing experience required; training is provided. Opportunities exist for both full-time and part-time rosters with ongoing development and career growth within Australia’s leading plumbing supplier network.

Responsibilities

• Providing customer service and information about products.
• Providing quotes both in-person and over the phone.
• Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities.
• Maintaining a safe, organised, and welcoming branch environment.
• Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle.

Trade Counter Assistant Opportunities - Inner Sydney

About the opportunity As part of the Trade Counter team, you’ll help plumbers and other tradespeople access the products they need for residential, commercial and renovation projects that keep Sydney growing.

We have a mix of opportunities across the Inner Sydney area including Full Time and Part Time rosters, working in customer service, warehousing, delivery driving, or as an all-rounder! No plumbing experience? No Problem. We believe skills can be taught. Whether you're new to the industry or looking for your next career opportunity, we’ll set you up for success with:

Your day-to-day

We’d love to hear from you

We're looking for people with career potential and a growth mindset. Previous experience in customer service and enjoys helping people both in person and over the phone. Accurately pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate. Tech-savvy and adaptable to learn new systems. Holds a clean, valid driver’s licence. Valid Forklift licence is ideal but not essential. Wants to develop their career - either locally, within our broader network or head office!
