Job summary

West Moreton Health is seeking an experienced Building Services professional to lead a team responsible for trade services across major health facilities in the region. You will supervise trades staff and contractors, coordinate maintenance programs and respond to facility needs with a focus on safety and quality.

The role demands strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and the ability to plan and deliver projects on time while maintaining patient and staff wellbeing in a busy health

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge relating to the nominated trade in large health care facilities or similar facilities.
• Experience and ability to lead, supervise, motivate and develop a team of trade staff and service contractors to achieve positive client and work area outcomes.
• Understanding of the centrality of customers in a service industry with the ability to establish and maintain relationships, take ownership of and resolve issues to achieve positive outcomes.
• Ability to communicate well across all levels of an organisation, with a wide range of stakeholders, maintain confidentiality, consult, negotiate and provide authoritative information on matters relating to their field of expertise.
• Ability to organise works tasks and projects independently, giving consideration to diverse priorities to meet deadlines and achieve high quality work outcomes.

About you

Mandatory Requirements

• Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association within Australia. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of duties.
• It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment as required by Health Employment Directive No. 01/16
