Gaven Trade Centre, part of the Bunnings family, is hiring pick packers to support bulk delivery and stocking for building projects. This Monday to Friday role offers an adult pay rate of 28.64 AUD per hour for workers aged 18+. You will pick and pack orders, load vehicles and help keep the stock flowing.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and efficiency. No prior trade centre experience required if you bring the right attitude; training provided.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• A current forklift license would be ideal although not essential.
• Experience in warehousing, dispatch of deliveries or picking and packing is ideal but not essential.

Our Gaven Trade Centre is looking for team to join them as Pick Packers. This is a Monday to Friday role

We provide an adult pay rate for 18 years of age and above at $28.64 per hour for this role.

About the role:

Our Trade Centre's operate a little differently to our retail sites providing a delivery and pick up solution for key building lines, delivering bulk quantities of materials to building sites. We partner with our commercial customers, helping them manage their projects with a ‘whole of build’ solution.

We stock a select number of core builders' lines, that allows our customers to build from the slab up. Everything from timber, fibre cement, cladding, windows, doors and appliances. Our Trade Centre's take the pick/pack and delivery of these bulk products out of our store environment which allows our stores to focus on giving the best customer experience and supporting other trades.

What you’ll do:

• Pick and pack orders with precision and care
• Load and unload products on delivery trucks utilising machinery (high reach and counter balance forklift) as required
• Ensure orders are dispatched in full and on time
• Replenish stock to keep our operations running smoothly
• Use equipment and machinery to safely move stock and organise products

Never worked in a trade centre before? If you have the right attitude, we’ll make sure you have the skills to get the job done. We believe in empowering our team members and providing the training you need to succeed. We are looking for:
