Job summary

Bunnings Limited in Australia is seeking team members for our distribution centres to support the smooth delivery of stock to stores. You will join a fast-paced environment and work across picking, packing and loading activities at our Perth-area sites.

You’ll contribute to accurate dispatch, stock replenishment and safe handling of goods, with shifts from 8:30am to 5:00pm and a base adult rate around $33.66 per hour. This role is integral to keeping our stores stocked and ready for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, dispatch of deliveries or picking/packing is preferred but not required.
• Good communication and ability to work as part of a team.
• Forklift license is ideal but not essential.
• Ability to work morning/afternoon shifts and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders with care and accuracy.
• Load and unload products on delivery trucks using equipment as required.
• Ensure orders are dispatched in full and on time.
• Replenish stock to keep operations running smoothly.

With 5 main sites across Australia and New Zealand our distribution centres are the heartbeat of bringing our Bunnings stores to life.

Each year, over 1,000 dedicated team members unpack approximately 60,000 shipping containers, pick close to 8 million orders for our stores, and handle nearly 3 million pallets. Our team ensures the smooth dispatch of around 1.5 million pallets to our stores annually.

You will be responsible for supporting the safe and smooth delivery of stock to our stores, working alongside a fast-paced team in an operational distribution environment.

What's involved:

What you'll do:

• Load and unload products on delivery trucks, utilising machinery (high reach and counter balance forklift) as required

• Use equipment and machinery to safely move stock and organise products

• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• A current forklift license would be ideal, although not essential/is essential
• Experience in warehousing, dispatch of deliveries or picking and packing of orders, or voice picking is ideal but not essential
