Job summary

Palmer Coolum Resort Pty Ltd on the Sunshine Coast is seeking trade-qualified carpenters to join our resort and golf course team. You will perform repairs, maintenance, and construction to a five-star standard across our facilities, in a hospitality environment.

Travel within southeast Queensland is required; owning tools is advantageous though not mandatory. A White Card, working at heights, EWP and other tickets are highly desired.

Qualifications

• Qualified carpenter with trade certification and relevant experience.
• Experience in repair, maintenance and construction to five-star standard.
• Willingness to travel within southeast Queensland.
• Own tools advantageous but not required.
• Comply with WHS legislation and guidelines.

Job description

We are looking for a number of highly motivated, trade qualified carpenters within our resort and golf course environment. The successful applicant should have experience working as a qualified carpenter and be able to complete all tasks in accordance with the relevant legislation, codes of practice and Australian standards. You should also possess a strong work ethic, have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment.

The carpenter jobs will be varied and include the repair and maintenance of existing buildings as well as the construction of new structures within the resort. The successful applicant should be highly experienced with working with a range of materials and complete works to a five-star standard. The job will involve some travel within southeast Queensland. Having own tools and equipment would be an advantage but not a requirement.
