Palmer Coolum Resort Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated electrician to join our engineering team on a resort and golf course site in Queensland. The role focuses on fit-out and refurbishment across residential accommodation and commercial buildings, with tasks including lighting, switchboards, and plant equipment works.

The ideal candidate holds a Queensland electrical workers licence or contractor’s licence and demonstrates strong work ethic, punctuality, and a proactive, safety-conscious attitude.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work on fit-out and refurbishment of resort accommodation and commercial buildings.
• Upgrade switchboards and install lighting and plant equipment.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver quality outcomes.

Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated employee to join our engineering team to work as an electrician within our resort and golf course environment. The successful applicant should hold a current Queensland electrical workers licence or contractor’s licence and be able to complete all tasks in accordance with the relevant legislation, codes of practice and Australian standards. The successful applicant should possess a strong work ethic, have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment.

The electricians job will be varied but will be focused on the fit out and refurbishment of the resort including. The project includes finishing residential accommodation and commercial buildings as well as street lighting, switchboards upgrades and plant and equipment works.
