Job summary

Palmer Coolum Resort is seeking multiple highly motivated carpenters to join our resort and golf course maintenance team. You will be a qualified carpenter able to perform repairs and maintenance across resort buildings to a five-star standard.

Applicants should have a white card and relevant tickets; experience with a variety of materials and a strong team ethic is essential. The role is on-site at the Sunshine Coast.

Qualifications

• Qualified carpenter with trade qualification and hands-on experience.
• White card and heights/suspended works tickets highly desired.
• Experience maintaining and repairing buildings to a five-star standard.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repair and maintenance work on resort and golf course buildings.
• Work with a range of materials to a high standard.
• Follow all work health and safety legislation and guidelines.
• Collaborate with team to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.

Job description

We are looking for a number of highly motivated, trade qualified carpenters within our resort and golf course environment. The successful applicant should have experience working as a qualified carpenter and be able to complete all tasks in accordance with the relevant legislation, codes of practice and Australian standards. You should also possess a strong work ethic, have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment.

The carpenter jobs will be varied and include the repair and maintenance of existing buildings. The successful applicant should be highly experienced with working with a range of materials and complete works to a five-star standard.

The Palmer Coolum Resort & Golf Course is located on 300 acres of pristine land located at Yaroomba, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. With holiday accommodation units, restaurants, conference and banqueting, maintenance facilities and a golf course.
