Job summary

Palmer Coolum Resort is seeking experienced trade-qualified Painters for the renovation project at the resort location on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. The role is based on site with weekly travel to the same location, and offers a full-time, five-month contract with pro rata pay.

Applicants must hold a Construction Induction Safety White Card and a valid driver’s license with their own vehicle; an EWP ticket is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold relevant trade qualifications and have had recent experience.
• The successful applicant will know all aspects of the trade from preparation of surfaces, paints, products and finishes to ensure a high quality product.
• Construction Induction Safety White Card
• Drivers licence with own vehicle

Job description

We are looking for experienced trade qualified Painters to join our team involved with the final aspects of renovation of the Palmer Coolum Resort. Applicants must hold relevant trade qualifications and have had recent experience. Successful applicants will need to comply with all work health and safety legislation and guidelines and work within time frames and budgets.

The successful applicant will know all aspects of the trade from preparation of surfaces, paints, products and finishes to ensure a high quality product is achieved.

The role is based at the resort so you will be travelling to the same location for work each week, in addition to receiving benefits of a full time employee which include holiday pay and superannuation.

Note: This is a full time five month contract with rate pro rata for this period.
