Job summary

dormakaba is seeking a hands-on installer/ technician for our Australian operations. You will perform factory duties, install and service a range of door products, and travel to client sites to provide high-level service and advice.

The role requires a valid C Class Driver Licence, ability to use power tools, physical fitness, and construction experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills. Desirable licences include forklift and EWP, plus White Construction Card.

Qualifications

• Current C Class Driver Licence is required.
• Ability to use a variety of power tools.
• Physical ability and agility to perform the required work.
• Previous experience in a construction environment or similar role.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

You will gain comprehensive knowledge of our installation and repair services, as well as insights into our factory operations. Our responsibilities encompass the installation and servicing of industrial doors, garage roller doors, panel doors, automatic door openers, gate openers, and various other specialized products, all conducted at client sites.

What we require

• Current C Class Driver Licence
• Ability to use a variety of power tools

• Previous experience working in a construction environment or similar role

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

What we prefer

• Forklift licence and experience operating a forklift (highly desirable)
• EWP licence and/or experience operating an EWP (highly desirable)
