Job summary

WorkPac Group is assisting a well-established metal fabrication company in Coffs Harbour to recruit a hands-on Trade Assistant. You will support fabrications and workshop operations, assist tradespeople, prepare tools and maintain a safe, efficient workshop environment.

The role requires a White card and previous experience as a Trade Assistant or labourer. On offer is a stable on-site position with penalties on all hours and immediate start possibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Trade Assistant or labourer.
• White card required.

Responsibilities

• Assisted tradespeople with workshop maintenance and repairs
• Completed general labouring and technical support tasks
• Prepared and maintained tools, equipment, parts and work areas
• Collected and distributed parts and supplies
• Completed pre-start checks, job cards, timesheets and safety documentation
• Reported hazards, incidents and equipment defects
• Maintained a clean, safe and organised workshop
