Job summary

Century Engineering is seeking Trade Assistants for our afternoon shift (3:00pm – 11:06pm) in Australia. Work in a modern, well-equipped workshop with PPE provided and a safety-first culture.

Ideal candidates will have a forklift licence, 2+ years in a workshop using tools, saws and overhead cranes, plus experience reading technical drawings and performing heavy lifting. Casual or Full-time options available; remuneration based on experience.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence required.
• At least 2 years' experience with tools, saws and overhead cranes in a workshop.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Experience in heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Experience in reading technical drawings/blueprints desirable.
• Paint and blast operations experience highly regarded.
• Right to work in Australia.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for motivated Trade Assistants who take pride in their work and value being part of a team.

Ideal candidates will have:

• A Forklift licence (essential).
• Minimum 2 years' experience using tools, saws, and overhead cranes in a workshop environment.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Have experience in heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Experience working from technical drawings/blueprints (desirable).
• Experience in paint and blast operations (highly regarded).
• A valid right to work in Australia.

Remuneration will be based on experience and qualifications.
