The role emphasizes strong written and verbal communication, time management, and teamwork to achieve business improvements while delivering customer excellence.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or a related discipline.
• Experience in the assessment of development applications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Environment Planning & Assessment Act 1979 and Local Government Act 1993 and related regulations.
• Developed communication skills both verbal and written including report writing.

Responsibilities

• Assess Development Applications and provide associated customer service.
• Assist the Local Planning Panel in considering Development Applications.
• Provide expert evidence in the Land and Environment Court of NSW.
