Maranoa Regional Council is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic Tourism & Community Development Officer to provide high-quality visitor information and promote regional attractions. The role is on-site with a 9-day fortnight, five weeks annual leave, and access to long service leave after seven years.
You will coordinate visitor services for Calico Cottage, assist with facility hire administration, and support events and promotions during core hours.

In this role, you will provide high-quality visitor information and tourism services, helping visitors discover local attractions, events, businesses and experiences. You’ll be a welcoming and knowledgeable point of contact, sharing local insights and helping people make the most of their time in the region.
You will also provide operational support to Calico Cottage, working in accordance with Council’s Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), while assisting with the coordination and administration of community facility hire and activation.
