Holzbau Industries in Nerang is seeking a conscientious Timber Production Worker for a casual, long-term position. The role focuses on transforming plank flooring into stair nosing components using proprietary machinery, with 3-4 days per week plus leave-cover in a small team.

Experience in woodworking or related industries is beneficial; a strong eye for detail and the ability to follow procedures are essential. Forklift licensing is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in woodworking, flooring or similar industries would be beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail is an absolute must.
• Ability to manage time and work strategically within process guidelines.
• Willingness to follow company policies and procedures and work in an OHS compliant manner.
• Physically able to safely manage and carry packs of flooring product and packed orders.

Holzbau Industries is a manufacturing partner to the flooring and building industries, specialising in the conversion of plank flooring into stair nosing components. We are seeking a conscientious and detail-oriented Timber Production Worker to join our Nerang based manufacturing team in a long-term role.

About the role:

This role involves working with plank flooring products and using Holzbau's proprietary machinery and processes to manufacture stair nosings. The position is 3-4 days per week plus leave-cover and involves working within a small team environment. Woodworking or production experience is beneficial, but practical ability, accuracy and a willingness to learn are equally valued.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Machining and assembling stair nosings to quality standards
• Detailing and packing completed orders
• Operation of tools, workshop machinery and equipment
• Cleaning and maintenance of plant and equipment
• Cleaning and maintenance of factory floor and amenities

Our factory operating hours are from Monday to Thursday 6am to 3pm and Friday 6am to 1pm.
