Job summary

Adelaide Fringe invites applications for a Full-time Fixed Term Ticketing Lead to oversee box office and program delivery.

Based in Adelaide, you will manage a small team, coordinate with partners and donors, and ensure accurate reporting of budgets and ticketing data. The role requires festival experience and the ability to work under pressure during peak periods.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ticketing/box office leadership experience in festivals or venues.
  • Experience supervising staff in fast-paced operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from planning to completion.
  • Experience budgeting, tracking spend and reporting.
  • Experience building relationships with external partners and donors.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ticketing software, CRM, data tools and MS Office.
  • Current Police clearance or willingness to obtain one.
  • Desirable: familiarity with arts festivals and open-access formats.

Job description

REPORTS TO: Ticketing Manager

EMPLOYMENT: Full time (Fixed Term, FTE 38 Hours) 19 October 2026 to 30 June 2027

SALARY: $74,500 per annum (pro rata), plus 12% superannuation
ESSENTIAL / DESIRABLE CRITERIA

Education / Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a ticketing, box office or program delivery leadership role in festivals, events or venues, including familiarity with ticketing systems.
  • Experience leading, supervising or developing staff in fast paced operational contexts.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once, from planning through to completion.
  • Experience managing a budget, including tracking spend and reporting on it.
  • Experience building relationships with external partners, donors, community groups or media.
  • Strong analytical skills and technical proficiency across ticketing software, CRM systems, data analysis tools and standard office software.
  • Current Police clearance, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Familiarity with the arts and entertainment industry, particularly festivals. (desirable)
  • Experience in an open-access arts festival. (desirable)
